Govt. of Punjab freed Rs1.46 billion to uplift the paused projects of the garrison city, Rawalpindi, as per reports by a local news agency.

Ring Road, Rawalpindi, is a 38.3 KM long orbital highway between Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Construction was started in March 2022, but due to several reasons, development wasn’t taking place. This Six lane road waited for the funds to be released. Finally, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will let the RDA start the work with the provided funds of Rs1.46 billion.
